Due to the increased demand for meat products during the New Year period, the National Food Agency and FAO urge consumers to avoid the purchase of meat at suspicious areas.
Consumers should pay attention that the meat product is stored in a clean, closed refrigerator, on a temperature from +2 to 6 °C. Meat, pork, poultry and goat must be stored separately. Meat products imported from different countries must be stored separately. Meat label must include the information about the country of origin and the animal identification number (if the meat was produced in Georgia),
