NFA continues treatment against Locust in Akhmeta

NFA has treated 2435 ^Ha of agricultural land in the Eastern Georgia. Chemical treatment against Moroccan Locust, Grasshoppers and Italic Locust in Kakheti Region is still continuing.

At this stage, 1765 ^Ha of affected area have been treated in Akhmeta, Signaghi and Dedoplistskaro territories, 400 ^Ha in Kvemo Kartli (Marneuli and Rustavi Municipalities) and 270 ^Ha in Shida Kartli (Kareli Municipality) have been chemically treated.

The mentioned activities are being carried out in the frame of special state target program on Plant Protection and Phytosanitary Reliability.
