NFA continues treatment against Locust in Akhmeta

NFA has treated 2435 Ha of agricultural land in the Eastern Georgia. Chemical treatment against Moroccan Locust, Grasshoppers and Italic Locust in Kakheti Region is still continuing.

At this stage, 1765 Ha of affected area have been treated in Akhmeta, Signaghi and Dedoplistskaro territories, 400 Ha in Kvemo Kartli (Marneuli and Rustavi Municipalities) and 270 Ha in Shida Kartli (Kareli Municipality) have been chemically treated.

The mentioned activities are being carried out in the frame of special state target program on Plant Protection and Phytosanitary Reliability.
