Specialists of the National food agency of the Ministry of Agriculture destroied 4 tons of contaminated, harmful to human health chicken forcemeat on Tbilisi waste ground.  

Tbilisi City Division specialists have withdrawn large quantity of outdated sausages, cannery, cannery and dairy products from several supermarkets on Tsereteli Avenue.    

NFA continues monitoring food market over the country. This time, Tbilisi City Division specialists have withdrawn large quantity of different outdated food from Lilo territory supermarkets.        

According to the information provided by  National Centre for Disease  Control and Public Health, in # 13 kindergarten of Ozurgeti region, suspicious meat had been supplied.  

Russian Sanitary Monitoring Service “Rospotrebnadzor” representatives have been visiting Georgia from February 25 to March 1, current year. The aim of the visit was to inspect companies producing alcohol and mineral water for further export. Before the second stage of the visit the official state inspection of the companies has to be performed by the NFA. Due to the numerous cases of food intoxication in Tbilisi kindergartens in November, NFA inspectors carried out inspection of kindergarten food units.

As a result of unplanned inspection, NFA has found lot of an equine meat raw material  as well as semi-finished products such as: "Khinkali" "Pelmen","Guphta" and "burger" made of same raw meat.
